Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026Both Markdown-to-PDF and PDF-to-Markdown conversion happen entirely inside your browser. Your documents are never uploaded to a server, never stored, and never seen by anyone else. This page explains what that means in practice and what limited data the site does touch.
The content you convert
When you paste Markdown or upload an .md file, the text is read by JavaScript running in your browser tab, rendered into the live preview, and used to build the exported PDF. When you upload a PDF for conversion to Markdown, it is read and processed the same way — locally, on your own device.
In neither direction is your file transmitted anywhere. There is no conversion server, no upload endpoint, and no processing queue. If you disconnected from the internet after the page loaded, the converter would still work.
- Not uploadedYour files never leave your device as part of the conversion.
- Not storedNothing is written to a database, and no copy is retained after you close or refresh the tab.
- Not readable by usBecause the content is never received, it cannot be accessed, reviewed, or disclosed.
Downloads
Saving a PDF uses your browser's built-in print-to-PDF function, so the file is generated on your machine and saved wherever you choose. Downloading a Markdown file writes it directly from memory to your device. Neither download passes through this site.
Accounts and stored data
There are no accounts, logins, profiles, or saved document histories. The site holds no database of user content, which means there is no personal data to export, correct, or delete on request — there is simply nothing on file. Any data related to your session lives in your own browser and is cleared when you clear your browsing data.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
This site sets no tracking cookies. It runs no analytics platform, no advertising scripts, no session recording, and no cross-site trackers. You are not profiled, fingerprinted, or retargeted as a result of visiting.
Third-party services
The only external request the site makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used across the page. As part of delivering those font files, Google may receive your IP address and basic browser information. This is standard for font delivery and is unrelated to the content you convert. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.
No other third-party service — no CDN for your files, no conversion API, no error-reporting service — receives anything from this site.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may record standard access logs, typically including IP address, requested URL, timestamp, and user agent. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. They record that a page was served; they contain nothing about the documents you convert, because that information never reaches the server.
Children's privacy
The tool is a general-purpose document utility and is not directed at children. Since no personal information is collected from anyone, none is knowingly collected from children either.
Changes to this policy
If the site's data practices ever change — for example, if analytics were introduced or an optional account system added — this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the "last updated" date above will change with it.
